Youth community mental wellness

Founded by former MLB player Darrell P. Jackson, 10-20 Club has been working with youth in the City of Downey, Downey Unified School District and throughout Los Angeles County since 1992. The program was developed to provide early intervention to youth who were at risk for joining gangs in support of Gangs Out of Downey (GOOD). We identify our clients with the assistance of local school administrators.

We are a community-based non-profit organization that focuses on Mental Wellness.

We utilize:

  • Intervention-Mental Health Group and Individual Therapy, Community Programs, Art, Sports and Individual Interest.

  • Prevention - Mentoring, Life Skills, Empathy, Guidance and Patience.

  • Diversion - Redirecting negative behavior and replacing it with the students' unlocked potential.
